Useful Info
Germination1. Soak seed in hot water for 24-48 hours. Sow the seeds that swell and sink immediately. Others (still floating) should be mechanically clipped (!!! Gently nick the seed coat near the pore slowly shaving it away until you see the barest glimmer of white. Be very careful not to cut the embryo.!!!) to expose endosperm inside, soaked till it sinks and sowed immediately.
2. Sow in moist peat/sand/ perlite mix, germination will usually occur in 1-2 weeks in higher temperature.
If no germination, put the pot in the ziplock bag and move to a fridge at +2-+4C. Check periodicaly - the soil should be always moist, not wet. Germination can start during this stratification.
